The Light my fire Firesteels were originally specially developed for the Swedish army.
It is the first fire starter made of Magnesium in the shape of a rod. This allows you
to produce sparks of an average of 2850 degrees C using the supplied stainless steel scraper.
With a Firesteel mini from Light my fire you can iron up to 500 times
A firesteel or fire starter performs even at extreme heights with oxygen-poor air and it works
just as well when wet. The fire starter can be used for countless applications, from lighting
a gas stove to starting a campfire.
