Duvets

Duvets for the caravan and duvets for home use. There are many types of duvets available in various materials, sizes and colors. Which duvet is right for you?

When you are looking for a suitable duvet, you can first measure the desired size. That is easy and quick to do. A duvet may overhang slightly from the mattress, so if your mattress is, for example, 160 x 200, you can safely choose a duvet that measures 200 x 200.

Once you have determined the size, look at the heat that is desired. For home use, a warmth class 2 is very suitable and you will actually find that with every all-season duvet. As the name suggests, this type of duvet is suitable for every season. Most all-season duvets are filled with synthetic fibers, but some are filled with down or wool.

A synthetic fiber duvet continues to warm you even if you sweat a lot and the duvet becomes wet. A down duvet that is wet loses its effectiveness and virtually no longer heats.

We therefore do not recommend a down duvet when used in a damp place. A caravan is often too humid for this in the early and late season. We really recommend that you choose a hollow polyester fiber, also called Syndon.
However, if you are looking for a comfortable warm duvet for your bedroom at home, down can be extremely pleasant. It is lighter in weight and therefore you often sleep more comfortably under a down duvet. If you don't do that and you like a heavy duvet, a synthetic fiber or wool duvet is better suited.

We therefore do not recommend a down duvet when used in a damp place. A caravan is often too humid for this in the early and late season. We really recommend that you choose a hollow polyester fiber, also called Syndon.
