Robin Hood lived in a difficult time where there were no weapons such as guns and the like. Namely around 1200. Times were miserable and many people had no food.
Nowadays people often think that Robin stole expensive objects, money, gold, silver, etc., but that is not true. Robin brought some grain, a chicken, eggs and milk and sometimes even a cow. Robin then gave this to the poorer people so that they too had food and could survive.
What is true is that Robin Hood was a marksman with a bow and arrow. He had clothing in camouflage colors so he could hide between bushes and trees. Robin could not be found and Robin could continue to help the poor people.
