Do you have a tear in a cotton tent, awning or something similar? You can easily repair this by sewing it with ESVO anthracite tent thread. The tent yarn is water-repellent and consists of a polyester/cotton mixture.
Esvo tent yarns are also called swelling yarn because the polyester/cotton yarn expands when it rains. This means that the stitching seam will not allow water to pass through.
